Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable. My name is Amber Young, and I am Gamma Sigma’s President! I went through recruitment as a freshman, and I joined AOII because I found a place where I truly belonged. AOII is my beautiful home away from home! AOII has given me amazing memories, lifelong friendships, my future bridesmaids, and it has helped shape me into a strong well-rounded woman! You can always find me chilling at the AOII house, or going on incredible adventures in the city with my amazing sisters! I am so excited to be leading AOII here at Georgia State! Go 'Thers! President, Amber Young Stella, Jess, Helen, and Bess became determined that their friendship should last a lifetime. On December 23, 1896, the four climbed the stairs in a small gallery of the old Columbia College Library which led to an old and seldom used room. On January 2, 1897, Alpha Omicron Pi was formally organized at the home of Helen St. Clair.
